The founders and partners have held senior positions on both the advisory and corporate side for many years, each bringing more than 15 years of experience in M&A as well as in building and managing digital businesses. Dr. Björn Schäfers
Founder and managing director of various digital companies, familiar with both the startup and corporate worlds. Most recently, he was Managing Director responsible for corporate company building at the Otto Group, where he established software companies in the fields of e-commerce, marketing, fintech, and logistics.
Max Köhler-Karstens
Active in M&A consulting for many years. He studied business administration with a focus on business informatics and supports startups as an external CFO in matters of financing, investor search, and exit strategies. He has developed digital business models, particularly in the areas of health tech and e-commerce innovation.
Helmut Bauer
Founder and managing partner of the HWB Group, to which NEOMA belongs. A trained banker and business economist, he was formerly a corporate client advisor and CFO of a technology company. With over 20 years of experience in banking and the M&A sector, he is an expert in company sales, succession planning, strategic consulting, financing structures, and mediation.
Lutz von Majewsky
An experienced consultant specializing in the conception and execution of corporate transactions as well as the structuring and implementation of succession processes — always with an eye on tax-related aspects. He supports, empowers, and accompanies entrepreneurs on their way through the digital age.
With over 20 years as a partner in a medium-sized tax consulting firm and as a startup mentor at Accelerator Gateway49, he brings both experience and innovation to the table.
